Croissants with apple & raspberries jam

DSC_0063  Morning is one of my favorite moments:  I always take time to enjoy a nice breakfast: “café au lait“, bread, butter & jam. It is simple, but it is my little pleasure before I start a new day.  We sometimes buy croissants. Iggy’s are fantastic, but this time, I wanted the real taste of  “croissants au beurre”…  and the smell when they come out the oven!

I’ve never bought a jar of jam. When I was young, I enjoyed watching my grand-mother use a big copper pan to slowly cook marmalade & jam.
Today, apple & raspberries: this is a nice combination for a “gelée“.
