This is a nice trio: apple,”tuile” (pronounced tweel) & caramel sauce !
I wanted to make a delicate, light and seasonal dessert.
The apples are peeled, diced and quickly cooked in a pan with butter and a pinch of sugar.
The caramel sauce is made with sugar, butter and cream.
The “tuiles” are made with flour, confectioner’s sugar, egg whites and… butter.
Everything is ready: when you want to serve this dessert to your guests, you only have to assemble it !
The result is surprising and delicious.
